Frequently asked questions

The visa route

What is the Innovator Founder Visa?
A UK visa for founders setting up an innovative, viable and scalable business. You need an endorsement from a Home Office approved endorsing body before you apply to the Home Office.
Is there a minimum investment?
No. The old £50,000 minimum was removed in 2023. You still need to show how the business will be funded.
Who decides whether my plan is good enough?
The endorsing body you apply to. Not us, and not the Home Office at that stage.
Do you give immigration advice?
No. We are not immigration advisers. For advice on your visa application, eligibility or choice of endorsing body, speak to a regulated adviser or solicitor. We work alongside them.

Working with us

Can you guarantee an endorsement?
No one can honestly guarantee it. We make sure your plan clearly answers every test with evidence, and that you can defend it.
How long does it take?
Business Plan: usually two to three weeks once we have your information. Plan & Prototype: usually four to six weeks.
Is my idea kept confidential?
Yes. We will sign an NDA on request, and your idea is only used to deliver your project.
Do you work with founders outside the UK?
Yes. Most work happens over video calls, email and WhatsApp, wherever you are.
What if I need changes after delivery?
Two rounds of revisions are included in the Business Plan package, and Plan & Prototype includes revisions until your endorsing body interview.

Not sure your idea is endorsable?

Send us your idea. We will tell you honestly how it measures up against the innovation, viability and scalability tests, free and before you pay for anything.
